POSITION SUMMARY:
Loss Mitigation/Successor-In-Interest Specialists exist to work with
existing customers to reach a resolution that prevents the home from
going into foreclosure.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Obtains required state and national licenses for modification
purposes only. These licenses must be successfully completed and
updated regularly.

Reviews and decisions Loss Mitigation and Successor-In-Interest
requests by primarily working with customers who are either
delinquent of facing imminent hardship.

Communicates decisions regarding modification/loan assumptions to
customer while working with Collections, Default Servicing and Loan
Restructuring departments depending on the situation and options
pursued.

Presents and communicates credit terms for the purposes of
Modifications only.

Transfers customers to the Credit department when they are
interested in Loan Assumptions to complete application and loan
process.

Works under time sensitive deadlines and displays the appropriate
sense of urgency for completions.

Ensures timely and efficient processing of all Loss
Mitigation/Successor-In-Interest requests.

Demonstrates the ability to excel and contribute to a team
environment and cultivation of team processes and procedures.

Performs audits and re-looks for quality assurance and ensures Fair
Servicing standards are met.

Utilizes the VIEW, ONS, Sequel Viewpoint, and Microsoft programs.

Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Must live in and maintain a permanent address in the state of
Missouri.
-
Must report to the office located in Missouri twice a week.
-
College preferred but not required.
-
Must have above average telephone and written communication skills
with a strong sales ability and high sense of urgency.

Must be familiar with collection and legal process and be able to
multitask.

Ability to complete work in a timely manner, be dependable,
flexible and attentive to detail and possess strong follow through
skills.

Capable of dynamic, independent, and creative thought processes
focused on mutually beneficial outcomes.

Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email
and person to person.

Capability of gathering facts accurately, analyze causes, evaluate
alternate solutions and arrive at sound conclusions on action to be
taken.

Ability to manage multiple and/or conflicting responsibilities.

Great attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Working knowledge of the AS400 system a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
-
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
-
Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity
machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and
computer printer.

Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times through
in-person, over-the-phone, and email communication methods.

Ability to identify and assess account status and determine
appropriate process.

Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window
office environment.
