Software Engineer III
As a Software Engineer III with VMF Servicing and
Accounting, you will have the opportunity to teach new technologies and
take charge in modernization efforts over the next 3-5 years. This
would involve working on a team of software engineers to aide in
servicing/VMF.com customer portal development and Oracle ERP Cloud
Accounting modernization. We are looking for a team player that enjoys
teaching and mentoring others on new technologies and best engineering
practices. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting edge
technologies in an Agile/Scrum environment with exposure to business
analysts, product owners, business users and third-party companies.
Responsibilities:
- Application software design and implementation using Microsoft
Technologies: Dapper, ASP.net MVC & Web API, WCF, JavaScript,
AngularJS, C#, TypeScript and Unit Testing
- Documents development requirements for database, applications, and
operation system environment
- Conducts unit testing
- Will conduct mentoring to Tech Staff
- Works in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Cross team release management
- Aid in training of additional software engineers
Qualifications:
- Prefer a bachelor’s Degree and experience in the web application
development field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience training/teaching/managing software engineers preferred
- Hungry, humble, and people smart with a focus on helping and training
engineers on new technologies
- Demonstrates proficiency in a variety of the field's concepts, practices,
and procedures
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Provide consultation on complex projects and is a top-level
contributor/specialist
- Has strong communication written and verbal skills
- Experience with the following technologies:
Microsoft ASP.NET MVC 4+ & Web API
Microsoft SQL Server
C#
Angular JS
Experience with Appain/Mulesoft is a plus
